_Tartlet is a homebred by Jumbo out of Temple Island who Julie competed up to 3* level, she is a half bred. She has been placed well at intermediate level and finished the 2012 season well being 7th Osberton CCI** 7 year old Young Horse Championships. We are aiming her towards CIC 3*and possibly CCI3* in 2013. She won the BE Best British bred yr old in 2012 and my parents won a Medal of Honour for breeding her.
Her stable name derives from her mother who was known as fat pudding! As she never stopped eating! Tartlet is my first homebred that I have competed. She is not at all mareish, is very gutsy and loves her indepence! She is the only mare on the yard.
When Tartlet is stabled she very much likes her own space. She loves the attention of people and thrives of being in work, the harder she works the happier she seems to be. She is incredibly spooky at home and sometimes it isn’t even worth trying to jump a coloured filler on her in the school yet she has never spooked at a competition yet!!
