Jamie was bought as an 8 yr. He hunted and had also competed a little. Jamie is a very good jumping horse, but does not find dressage easy! He has competed successfully at 3* Level and although he is not a contender for Senior Teams, he has given me invaluable experience around big courses.
In June 2009, Jamie went to Luhmuhlen 4 *. He was going very well around an extremely strong course which was causing huge trouble, that was, until I decided to take the long route at a double of corners near the end of the course and missed jumping one element. I was pulled up three fences from home and eliminated. I was furious and will never make that mistake again.
He was due to go to Burghley at the end of the 2009 but unfortunately he got a urine infection which made him fairly ill for a few weeks and therefore missed too much work to be fit enough to compete
Jamie has recently retired from top level competition.
